WVO Director – General presided over the 3rd VECONAC Working Committee Meeting

   On 11th July 2022 The War Veterans Organization of Thailand (WVO) Under Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King as the host for the meetings of the Veterans Confederation of ASEAN Countries (VECONAC) for the year 2022 held the 3rd VECONAC Working Committee Meeting (WCM) at Dusit Thani Pattaya Hotel in Chonburi province, Thailand. On this occasion, General Santasana  Nantibhakhirund, WVO Director – General/ VECONAC President presided over the opening ceremony as there were participants from 9 VECONAC member countries including Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
   The purpose of the VECONAC meetings is to tighten relationships and enhance collaboration among veterans’ organizations in the ASEAN region. The 3rd Working Committee Meeting (WCM) is precedingly arranged at least 3 months before the 34th VECONAC Executive Board Meeting (EBM) and 21st VECONAC General Assembly (GA) which will be scheduled in the end of the year 2022.
