On 19^th February 2025, Lieutenant General Akhraphon Thongsut, WVO Deputy Director – General attended the reception on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day (Armed Forces Day of the Russian Federation) together with representatives from the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, foreign Defence Attachés in Thailand, the Directorate of Joint Intelligence and other organizations in Thailand to commemorate the former veterans and those who sacrificed their lives to protect their homeland, as well as to strengthen relationship between ASEAN countries and the Russian Federation at Watergate Ballroom, 6th floor, Amari Bangkok Hotel.
