On 23^rd November 2022, General Prayut  Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of the Veterans Council presided over the opening ceremony of Veterans Confederation of ASEAN Countries (VECONAC) 21^st General Assembly at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok Hotel. The meeting was participated by 10 VECONAC Member Countries in order to strengthen good relationship among veterans organizations in ASEAN region and drive forward the cooperations on veterans affairs, such as provision of assistance and support on veterans and war victims, knowledge sharing and exchange on vocational assistance as well as improving well-being or veterans, as well as improvement of VECONAC to become the regional organization that works important role on developing the whole quality of lives of veterans throughout the ASEAN region.
