On 23 July 2026, General Kantnat Nikornyanont, WVO Director-General, together with Mrs. Jittanant Nikornyanont, President of the WVO Wives Association, attended a reception held on the occasion of the celebration of Japan Self-Defense Forces Day.The reception was hosted by Mr. Otaka Masato, Ambassador of Japan to Thailand, together with Colonel Koga Toshiaki, Defence Attaché of Japan to Thailand, at the Ritz-Carlton hotel, Bangkok.
