On 30 August 2026, General Kantnat Nikornyanont, WVO Director-General, together with Mrs.Jittanant Nikornyanont, President of the WVO Wives Association, and delegation, attended a wreath-laying ceremony to pay respect and commemorate the Malaysian servicemen who lost their lives in wars and nation defense missions, particularly in the First World War, the Second World War, and related conflicts. The ceremony was hosted by the Malaysian Armed Forces Chinese Veterans Association at the Kuala Lumpur National Monument.
     The ceremony formed part of the organization’s visit to Malaysia at the invitation of the Veterans Association of the Malaysian Armed Forces (VAMAF), under the program to exchange and strengthen relations between the veterans’ affairs agencies of the two countries.
