On 16^th May 2026, General Kantnat  Nikornyanont, Director-General of the War Veterans Organization of Thailand (WVO) attended the reception on the occasion of the 2026 Annual Compatriot Party of Thai-Korean Alumni and Korean Veterans Association in Thailand, which was held to bring together Thai military officers, nursing students and military personal who served in the Republic of Korea, aimed to foster the connections among its members and strengthen the good relationship between Thailand and Republic of Korea. In this regard, General Thiva Phenkhetkorn, President of Thai-Korean Military and Nurse Alumni Club together with Mr.Lee Hyeong-bae, President of Korean Veterans Association in Thailand, warmly welcomed the distinguished guests at the Armthong Room, Thai Army Club, Vipahavadi Rangsit Road, Bangkok.
