On 25^th November 2025, General Kantnat Nikornyanont, WVO Director – General / Head of delegation of Thailand attended the 24^th General Assembly together with Heads of delegation from 9 VECONAC member countries at the Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia. On this occasion, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, the Secretary – General of ASEAN presented as a guest of honour of the 24^th GA Opening Ceremony together with General (Retired) H.B.L. Mantiri, President of VECONAC / President of Legion Veteran Republic of Indonesia (LVRI) to preside over the Opening Ceremony. The objective of the meeting was to adopt the resolutions on cooperation development of veterans’ affairs in the ASEAN region which was proposed by the 37 th Executive Board Meeting as follows: resolution on solidarity of VECONAC member countries in the event of a natural disaster and resolution on enhancing ASEAN veterans economic cooperation through the VECONAC Business Forum among veteran entrepreneurs as well as the collaboration between ASEAN Secretariat and VECONAC as a potential organization on maintaining peace and security among the ASEAN region.
