On 23 ^rd November 2025, General Kantnat Nikornyanont, WVO Director – General together with WVO executives paid a courtesy call on General (Retired) H.B.L. Mantiri, President of VECONAC / President of Legion Veteran Republic of Indonesia (LVRI) to discuss on the cooperation of veterans’ affairs in regional level before the VECONAC 37 ^th Executive Board Meeting and 24 ^th General Assembly Meeting at Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia.

     The topic of discussion includes resolutions on the solidarity of VECONAC member countries in the event of a natural disaster, the clarification of Working Committee’s role, function and purpose to response the challenges of the regional issues, which represents a significant step toward strengthening cooperation on human security and sustainable care of veterans in the ASEAN region.
