The Remembrance Day of the Royal Siamese Expeditionary Forces in the First World War
 

    On the occasion of the Remembrance Day of the Royal Siamese Expeditionary Forces in WWI On 11th November 2017, WVO arranged activities to commemorate of Siamese volunteer soldiers in WWI hereinafter:

    At 9.30 am., General Sampan Tanyapuch, WVO Director - General presided over the religious ceremony of making merit to respect to the spirit of Siamese volunteer soldiers in the First World War at the Banquet room on 2nd floor of Building 2, WVO Headquarter.

     At 14.30 pm., General Surayud Chulanont, Privy Counselor on behalf the King’s representative presided over the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Monument of the Royal Siamese Expeditionary Forces near the Royal Ground (Sanamlaung area) and there were many representatives from army units, government sections, associations, Foreign Defence Attachés and the descendants of volunteer soldiers in the First World War had also attended the ceremony.
